What is a SAP Backup and How to Configure SAP Backups Using Netbackup

Hi, I am new to the Netbackup.

I need some information regarding SAP Backups? What are they and how can we configure SAp backups using Netbackup.

Sourabh,

I can only suggest reading the netbackup manual on this...its a sizeable subject.

It lets SAP backups (brbackup..) interface with netbackups media manager and scheduling.

It works! But you dont necessarily need to use it if you know your SAP and your systems have alternatives eg fs snaps like zfs.
