Hi All,
I'm trying to find the differences between these two commands in Netbackup.
In the Netbakcup 7.6 TroubleShooting Guide, there is the same explanation for the commands. So, I couldn't understand how they work separately.
Can you help me to the explanation?
Regards,
Duygu

There is a big difference. tlmd is just a process, its not a command line utility and on the other hand tpconfig is a tape configration utility.
You can check the Netbackup command guide for the details.

tlmd
The Tape Library Multimedia daemon is the interface between ltid
and a TLM robot that is in an ADIC Distributed AML Server (DAS).
This daemon communicates with the TLM robotics through a
network API interface.
tpconfig

I think the tpconfig entry is incorrect; it is not the same as tlmd.
