What needs to be done for a Netbackup health check?

In the Symantec KDB I just found this article:

http://www.symantec.com/business/support/index?page=content&id=TECH126758

Also, the feature with the Defrag of the Datenbenk is very interesting.

Is there anything else to do for complete Netbackup check?

Why i want this information? -> I hope to speedup the system.

I might be tempted to approach from the other end: what issue are you trying to address? Theres a lot of tuning and sizing info out there - theres a guide for it - but is there a particular standout issue thats looking to be addressed? You say speedup the system, which particular aspect and what do you feel is inadequate ?

Why fix when it's not broken?

You shouldn't expect any speedup when you perform a consistency check.

That should be more helpful:

I tuned the Netbackup buffers, some IP and shared memory parameters, the handshake between master and media servers, the block devices for staging. Can't remeber more, should look into our docu.
