it looks like it is generated from the tape library end.. and it generally come when Drive enounter the issue when its writing the data..
please have a call with the Hardware vendor..

These are not NetBackup errors.

T036 - Drive Tape Alert 6 in tape library is basically hardware related error, try to clean this drive and retry the backup and monitor to check if this alert reappears, if yes then get in touch with your vendor for the replacement of tape drive.
Iin mean while u can share snapshot of tape library and tape drive logs of that particular tapr drive with vendor after extracting them from the library webconsole.

Call Quantum and have them check it out - also worth upgrading your library firmware and drive firmware
I assume that this is an i500 and your robotics are at 580G.GS003 but the current is 636G.GS003
Your drives are at H57Z and the current is H63Z
It does look like the tape is no good but get everything upgraded first ans then run a cleaning tape throught the drives a couple of time

Agreed. First thing Quantum will do (presuming you have paid support contract) is ask you to update the firmware.
