Where can I find the LIFECYCLE_PARAMETERS file on Windows servers?

Hi there,

I want to amend the Lifecycle Policy parameters to speed up testig (reduce the default waits for small data volumes), but cant find the parameter file on a windows server.

Can anyone point me in the right direction.

The file does not exist by default and must be created under ...\NetBackup\db\config

Add the following line to force dup after 10 minutes:

MAX_MINUTES_TIL_FORCE_SMALL_DUPLICATION_JOB 10

You can find all the LIFECYCLE_PARAMETERS in  the Best Practices for using Storage Lifecycle Policies in NetBackup 6.5.3 and 6.5.4 page 7 and onwards

It's a quite good piece of documentation.

Got it. I knew the parameter structure (fromthe documentation) but couldnt find the file on windows (the examples are showing the UNIX location). Thanks Marianne! Got it now
