Why does Ghost Jobs run in Netbackup.

Hi Team,

Iam new to Netbackup,Please help im me understanding the reason on why the blank jobs run's automatically in netbackup.

Every day there are couple of jobs which are shown in our netbackup environment which has only job ID ,reset all columes would be blank .

Under Job details it shows as Job State: Unknown, and "" job 9189474 was restarted as job 9195181 "" 

Master Server Details :

OS:  Linux 2.6.18-238.12.1.el5

Version : 7.1.0.4

We have SLP running in our  backup environment

This is a bug, would highly recommend you upgrade to NetBackup 7.5.0.6

Then Check out the technote below and download the EEB binary fix.

(ET3300058) <<Fix Downloadable>> After upgrading to Netbackup 7.5.0.6, the Activity Monitor displays either UNKNOWN or inconsistent Job Details.
