I would create the dbclient, backint and bphdb folders under logs

Been quite a while since I have work with SAP backup, but then it was important that it was the corrrect user that started the brbackup tool.

The standard questions: Have you checked: 1) What has changed. 2) The manual 3) If there are any tech notes or VOX posts regarding the issue

One thing that I don't see in your post:

Was NBU Client service changed to a user name with sufficient DB permissions?

When you run the backup from the client, it will use the permissions of the client logged on to run the backup.
When you start the backup from the master, it will use the NBU Client Service account. Normally LocalSystem that has no DB permissions.

Hi

Yes we have akreadt changed the Netbackup client user that has already sapadmin privilages

also all scripts backint, *.utl file *.sap file all has same client privilage

Note: We have another SAP client which is used same user and same config is workinf fine I could not find any differances.

Hi

I have also followed the following thechnote wich mentiones about netbackup patchs

http://www.symantec.com/business/support/index?page=content&id=TECH213039&actp=search&viewlocale=en_...

But unfortunatelly I have alredady set those parameters.

This also should not be the case

Next step is to check log files...

SAP backup does not log to dbclient.

Log folders as per NBU for SAP manual:

install_path\NetBackup\logs\bpbackup
install_path\NetBackup\logs\bpbkar32
install_path\NetBackup\logs\bphdb
install_path\NetBackup\logs\bprestore
install_path\NetBackup\logs\tar32
install_path\NetBackup\logs\backint

(I think that bpbkar32 and tar32 are wrong - should be bpbkar and tar, but tar and bprestore ar obviously only needed for restore).

The one I am interested in is backint.

You need to determine what is different between user-initated backup and server-initiated backup.
Are you running the same script when doing the backup on the client?
Is the same user-id that is running the backup successfully used for NBU Client service logon?
