OK somewhere miscommunication happened and NBU 7.6.03 was installed on some windows 2012 servers. The backup devices are 7.5.06 so need to downgrade the clients. First of all does 7.5 support windows 2012? Then secondly, is there a method to remove the 7.6 and install the 7.5 without requiring a reboot. &.6 removed just fine but when try to install 7.5 get a message that installation was interuppted and it rolls back.
Any suggestions would be extremely helpful.
Thank you

You can't install 7.5 GA client on windows 2012. There is 7.5.0.6 full installer package for win2012 -> http://www.symantec.com/business/support/index?page=content&id=TECH204661. Installing 7.5.0.0 may be the problem.

windows 2012 is supported as a NetBackup client from 7.5.0.6 and as a media server from 7.6
See: http://www.symantec.com/business/support/index?page=content&id=TECH76648
under Operating Systems
As for removing, use the Add/Remove Programs - you'll probably have to reboot. Then re-install 7.5 and patch to 7.5.0.6
