Windows Server 2012 r2 BMR requirements

I'm new to NetBackup and have a small Hyper-V environment for which netbackup will support.  I was wondering the ideal configuration for the host 2012 r2 BMR.  For backup would I need anything else beside this:

Shadow Copy Components

System State

C:\ (OS partition)

Thanks,

M

I you had apps installed on D:\ drive (inside a virtual machine) which are tightly integrated into Windows, then might the OS not boot/load cleanly if D:\ was not restored at the same time as the core of the O/S?   i.e. IMO, the success of a BMR recovery depends upon what else the OS and any installed applications needs to be present and available.

The host is only performing the hyper-v function.  Virtual machines are located on attached storage. Is there a better method for hyper-v host backup and recovery, small environment like 6 hosts?

Thanks,

M

ok - so we're talking about the Hyper-V host server, and not a host for BMR.  Yes, just C:, SS:, SCC: are all that you should need to backup if you want to be able to protect the Hyper-V host itself.
