Write Media Error - Code 84

Just last week it's started to happen. I don't know what's going on. Is it bec. of the Netbackup s/w or my Tape Library hardware problem?

I dont suspect it could be because of Netbackup. It should be related to the drive or faulty media.

1. Forcefully clean the drive using tpclean -C Drive_Name and once you have manually cleaned the drive use tpclean -M drive_name so as to reset the mount time.

2. Replace the media and chk.

Can you find any error on syslog(UNIXs)/Event Logs(Windows)?
