add a new trusted Master Server

Hello,

We are running 2 appliances hat function as master server.

I want to configure AIR between tham but when I tried to add a trusted master server I get the next error:

" Could not establish secure connection trusted master server. The remote master server may not be running NetBackup version 7.6 higher(5614) "

Important to mention that both of appliances with netbackup version of 7.6.0.4

Since they are both at 2.6.0.4, the last half of this error doesn't apply. But the first part is still true, its still not able to establish a secure connection.

HOWTO87087 has the steps for creating a trust between the servers. If you have followed this process and its still not working, I would be looking at communication between the two servers. Check for the fully-qualified host name of the remote master server. I would also check ports including 80, 443, 10082 and 10087 amung the other standard ports listed in the Symantec NetBackup 7.6 Security and Encryption Guide
