alternate port number for pbx

Hi,

    I am the beginner of this domain.....i have one question

As we know the pbx portno:- 1556...  my question is ....

do we have the alternate portno for the pbx...and also

please  explain regarding this please......

Any reason why you would want to change that?

I have not seen any documentation on how to it.

Veritas has registered port 1556 with IANA :
http://www.iana.org/assignments/service-names-port-numbers/service-names-port-numbers.xhtml?search=1... 

I have seen environments where other products have been configured to use this port.
Since Veritas has registered the port for its own comms between servers and clients, the other software should change their port, not NetBackup.
