anti-Virus db dailiy update interupt Netbackup services.

Hi All,

I have recently noticed that every day at arount the same time one of my master servers (windows) does not answers to queries (bpdbjobs, vmoprcmd etc.).

the master get stacked and after ~10-15 minutes it start to act normally.

While trying to figure this phenomenon i saw that each day around those hours, my AntiVirus doing auto-update to it's database.

Did anyone encountered this phenomenon before ?

Is there any explenation for Netbackup services to get stacked because of other non-Netbackup services start to run ?

If yes, check the exclusion list according to this article (it's for McAfee, but applies to all AV SWs)

If not, exclude NBU directories from scanning and auto-protection

I am using the McAfee antivirus. mouse - i can see this article related to my problem. will let you know if the solutions in the article won't help.
