backups failed error code (2106)

Hi everyone !

After upgraded netbackup from 7.7.3 to 8.3 which runs on windows server 2012, we get that all backups fail 

with this error message :

Error nbjm (pid=10572) NBU status: 2106, EMM status: Storage Server is down or unavailable 
Disk storage server is down  (2106)

storage unit is a datadomain 2500

We checked this output and we find that it is down:

I have searched for a solution and i find some talking about updating plugins.

i really doesnt know how to do.

Please how to fix this problem ?

You are using the DD Boost plugin from Dell EMC for Netbackup. The DD Boost plugin allow Netbackup to use the advanced features of a Data Domain.

Upgrading from 7.7 to 8.3 you need to upgrade the Data Domain Boost plugin and maybe also the operating system (DDOS) your Data Domains are using to support the new plugin version.

The required DD BOOST combination can be found in the NBU 8.X HCL :
