hi All,

i have a general question like , what is the minimum memory and CPU process can take by bpbkar process in windows 2008 R2 client with the Netbackup 7.1 version.

we are reciving frequent high CPU and memory utilization issues.. and system admin is reporting its because of bpbkar process.

what i would llike to check is, is that because of wrong sizeing of the client servers..(not enough memory /CPU) or really its a issue with the bpbkar process..

any guidence related to this issue is really help full

Regards

Ram

Thank you very much for the TN,

do we have any info that the bpbkar requred this much minumum CPU /memory to take the backup in for the servers in different critiries

like to backup 100 GB data in single stream required CPU/Memory?

to bakup 100 GB data in multistream  ?

any way to measure the required amount of CPU/Memory for bpbkar ..

i believe that would help me to size the server..
