Hi All,

If you just want to remove a client from the host properties list then this is populated by client entries within policies - just delete said client from all policies.

what about the host properties--master server--client attributes--client name.that will also be deleted if i delete it from policy database? or it will have to be manually deleted?

Host Properties -> Client
and
Host Properties -> Master Server -> Client Attributes
are populated from 2 totally different databases.

The 1st one from Policies (netbackup/db/class) database,
The 2nd one from netbackup/db/client database

So, yes. You have to delete a client from both databases.

Those entires has to be deleted manual.

Would be nice if they where deleted when a client was deleted from the last policy.

you need to use the client command to delete it from command line...

bpclient -client client_name  -delete

http://www.symantec.com/docs/HOWTO43768

or Directly from host properties--master server--client attributes.. GUI
