bpclntcmd -pn got no response

Hi guys,

I got no response when tried runnning bpclntcmd -pn on the client, what do you think that means?

Anyway, to see the error that bpclntcmd is failing with do:

Unix:      echo $?

Windows:   echo %errorlevel%

No output normally means that the client cannot connect to the master server on PBX or vnetd.

Check if nslookup and telnet works between the two servers

Hi Ahmed,

There may be issue with name resolution. Please run nslookup to check if server is able to resolve name. 

Also, what is the total number of hops it is taking to reach the client server from master?
