bpdbm consistency report returns: "open memory mapped file failed"

We are getting this error many times in our "bpdbm -consistency 2" report.  Has anyone ever seen this before or know what it means?   Thank you.

I think you may be seeing a bpdbm bug.

What version are you running?

Assuming you're somewhere in the 5.1 tree, is applying 5.1 MP7 an option?
