Hi Marianne,

I have asked one of our onsite team to tell me one of the SAN media server.I ran bpminlicense from master server for that san media server.

unx23.national.com is the SAN media server.

Now how I can check why this is the SAN media server.I mean with what entries in this command?

bash-3.00# sudo bpminlicense -M unx23.national.com -list_keys -verbose

If you are still having issues I suggest you call Symantec Customer Care - they can explain all about what licenses you need.

From what I see, as you have incorrect licenses for SAN media server (ie. it is in fact a normal media server) there is no way to tell it should be a SAN media server.
