I know how to get bprestore to redirect a restore to a different drive on a server, but does anyone know how to do it to a UNC Path?

As I stated, this was something I knew was possible within the Java and Windows admin consoles.  Someone suggested that I could turn on the Java debug logging, and find the syntax that the Java console was using.

(See http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH56459 for the details on enabling that)

Anyhow, after looking into the log, and finding the changefile that the java session used, I found this

change / to /\\<ipaddress>\remainder-of-uncpath

Hope this helps other people looking...

Associate the path to a drive and then do the restore.

Is there a way to do this from a system level? so the path is not lost when I log off?
