bprestore to different client

hi,

i need your help please,

 

I need to restore a folder D:\Fiancial from server_A to a different location on a different server : Server_B, and erase if there is this folder on the destination ?

and it's possible that bprestore to do restore from the last backup ??

 

The Media and Master servers are windows 2008 R2, version 7.5.0.6

netbackup is : Netbackup Enterprise Server.

 

The CLient Source and destination servers are Windows 2003.

You can do such a restore from the master server using either master server console or using bprestore. You can also do the restore from the destination client if altnames rights has been granted on the master server. But lets stick to the master server for simplicity.

For re-directed restore you will need both the -C client (source) and -D client (destination).

You can't remote delete the files in destination directory, but you can instruct Netbackup to overwrite existing files.
