hi,

i have two netabckup master servers in my environment.

master server A and master server B.

I want to connect master server A with master server B to do restore jobs. Means that master server A will acts as a client for master server B.

my question is can master server A be a client and master server at the same time?

if you are experienced enough, you can do it easily.

If you are not, you can end up with a broken master server, easily.

You have to add the master server B at the server list of  master server A (NOT the first entry) and initiate restore from the master server B's GUI. This will work only for client backups, not agent backups.

BE CAREFULL

EDIT: I have the same question with Yogesh9881. Why do you need to do that?
