Dear All,
Hope fine.
We have windows 2008 64 bit master & media server with netbackup 7.7.1.
I installed netbackup 7.7.1 client at linux mechine(Redhat 6.2) and file system backup is running smoothly.
Now I want to make this linux server as a boot server
But when I issue command
#./bmrsetupboot -register
#
it returns nothing. I check the boot server option of master server. But linux machine doesn't registered at boot server.
Another
After issuing commnd #./bmrsrtadm
It also doesn't show any option to create srt.
Could you please give me a solution?

Have you configured BMR on the master with bmrsetupmaster?
Or by using the BMR configuration wizard in the GUI?
Extract from BMR Admin Guide:
On the Windows BMR master server, select Programs > Symantec NetBackup
> Bare Metal Restore -- Master Server Setup from the Start menu.

Is the the 'bmrd' daemon running on master?
You can verify that the BMRDB database and service is operational by running
bmrs -o list -res BootServer
bmrs -o query -res database -table BootServer
For Unix/Linux, the Boot Server OS release/maintenance level must be as high or higher than the clients being supported.
