Hello. Trying to add a new robot through the 'configure storage devices' wizard.
Master - windows server 2008 R2 enterprise
media server - same OS as above
firewalls both turned off, UAC turned off.
Can ping back and forth, have had no issues with backups so far, but I get an error when trying to scan the host for attached devices (does not matter what host I specify, always get this error).
Get a pop up that states "Could not scan host list: Server Connection failed. Verify services or daemons are up and running (195)."
Currently have an active back up ongoing, but not on this media server. Worked with Symantec earlier regarding status 84 error on seperate media server. Any help?

Try to restart NetBackup and PBX on both master and media server following this TN. Restart "Symantec Private Branch Exchange" service in stead of "VERITAS Private Branch Exchange" service.

Yasuhisa to the rescue again!
I figured this would prob work, but wanted to see if there was anything that could be done while a job was active. No biggie, backup finished, restarted services, problem solved.
