Is Netbackup 7.5.0.6, and the client for 7.5.0.6, compatible with Windows Server Core 2016?

Support for Windows 2012 begain in NetBackup 7.5.0.6 or 7.5.0.7. For Windows 2016 you need to get a later NetBackup release.

Besides the basic issue that NetBackup 7.5.0.6 is past support EOL.

The last 7.5.0.x patch was released in 2013. So, you will understand that there would be no support for W2016, right?

Support for newer versions of OS and databases is just one of the reasons why NBU software should be upgraded on a regular basis.
If your maintenance contract is up to date, you can upgrade free of charge.

You need to schedule upgrade to supported version as a matter of urgency.

I have recently assisted a customer with upgrade from 7.5.x to 8.0.
The process was smooth and problem-free.
