have setup policies, with 3 schedulees, daily, weekly, monthly,
daily backups use a frequency schedule of 13 hours, and a backup window of 20.00-8.00 (Mon-Thu), with a retention of 2 weeks
weekly backups are configured to run every friday (including last friday of month), with a start windwow of 20.00-6.00 (Fri), retention of 4 weeks
monthly backups configured to run on the last friday of the month, with a start window of 20.00-6.00 (Fri), retention of 1 year
i was under the impression that if there was a conflicting schedule (weekly and monthly configured to run on last firday of the month), that the job with the highest retention period, i.e. monthly, would start?
checked our backups from last friday, and the weekly jobs ran (for Windows and Catalog backup policies)
should we exclude the last friday of the month from the weekly schedule?
