Hi everyone,
I have installed a Netbackup client version 7.1 in a server with OS Windows 2013 64 Bits, when I checked the conectivity between the masterserver and the client through "host properties" from the java console, the test fails with the following error "Connection requested by invalid server. Check to make sure that the configuration of cxbakwin01 is set to allow access to server srvbackup"
However, I have checked the configuration of cxbakwin01 and it is set to allow access to server srvbackup. but the fail contues, I would really appreciate you if you can help me.
From master server to client,
[root@srvbackup]# ping cxbakwin01

how are you resolving the names? using "/etc/hosts" or "/etc/resolv.conf"?
try clearing your master server's host cache first: ./bpclntcmd -clear_host_cache
then try NBU's way of resolution: ./bpclntcmd -hn serverA
./bpclntcmd -ip 192.168.1.1
to see if they resolve correctly.

OS Windows 2013 64 Bits
Look like a typo, is it Windows 2003 or Windows 2012?
Note that NB7.1 does not support Windows 2012, it has to be at least NB7.5.0.6 or above
Have you disabled the firewall setting in the Windows OS?
