we have 2 independent master servers,we will have AIR setup between them
1)if source master server is down, can some one please let me know steps on how we can continue backups for clients in a destination master server temporarily.
2)As this is a temporary movement of client from one master server to another master server do we see any issue when we revert back to original master server
Please suggest

You will probably need to replicate the backups done to remote site back to Prod.
There is no automated or easy way to do this. You will need list all images and use nbreplicate from cmd or in a script.
There are similar discussions here on VOX about 'replicate back' and nbreplicate. e.g.

You can do some prep work to enable this:
Add SERVER entries for remote master and media server on all clients.
Ensure forward and reverse name lookup between clients and remote servers as well as port connectivity (1556).
Create backup policies on remote master and deactivate all policies.
If Prod master is down, you can activate all policies.
First priority should be to get Prod master up and running ASAP to avoid backups over WAN connection.
