db_marker.txt missing

Running netbackup 7.0.1 on hp-ux 11.31 ..system hung, once I got it back up I'm seeing the following message in my bpdbm log:

<32> bpdbm: db marker file missing from the images directory /usr/open/netbackup/db/images/db_marker.txt (142)

....doesn't look like the db will start without that file.  I've opened a ticket with symantec, but am posting here for recommendations.

(but it goes on to say: "This condition will only exist in NetBackup 6.5.4 and beyond.")

The NetBackup Database Manager service fails to start or Error "db marker file missing from the images directory"

http://www.symantec.com/business/support/index?page=content&id=TECH66867

So it's not just a touch file!

***EDIT***

& can confirm contents at 6.5.6 on Solaris:

# cat db_marker.txt
!PLEASE DO NOT DELETE THIS FILE
WARNING: REMOVAL OF THIS FILE MAY INCREASE THE EXPOSURE TO SERIOUS OPERATIONAL ISSUES UP TO AND INCLUDING POTENTIAL DATA LOSS
This file is used to ensure access to the DB directory is valid upon NetBackup Database Manager startup.

Is it safe to 'touch' the file and start the db?

Check this technote: http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH66867

That touch file is introduced since 6.5.4

"...

Corrective Action:

Action: Using a text editor:
1. Create a new file: \install_path\NetBackup\db\images\db_marker.txt
2. Add the above contents and save the file.
3. Start the NetBackup Database Manager service.

Yes.  I followed the technote.  I should have been more specific.  I had seen the referenced technote earlier... but wanted to know if there were other things to look at before starting the db again.. Turned out somebody else deleted the db_marker file.

Thanks for your help.
