Hi guys,
I have this problem. I have always made a duplicate of my backup without problem.
Now when I run a duplicate, I look this report:

media DP495S is the original media. Destination media is already mounted.
Finally media driver read always but not write in the destination media...

Someone is already happen this?

I have netbackup 5.0 mp5 witn win 2000 server sp4

It has to read first befire it writes. Looks correct to me.

Don't you user same storage unit & same volume pool as destination?
If so, you shuld specify other volume pool or other storage unit.


NetBackup System Administrator�s Guide for Windows, Volume I, page 244
NetBackup does not verify in advance that the media ID selected for the duplicate copy is not the same as the media ID of the volume that contains the original backup.
Because of this potential deadlock, specify a different volume pool to ensure a different volume is used.
