After a successful recover of Catalog on a newly installed OS and NETBACKUP. I unfortunately could not remember the DR file passphrase so I need to re-deploy token on each host. configure netbackup "host id" on client json file (C:\Program Files\Veritas\NetBackup\var\VxSS). Seems something tiny I am missing.

(netbackup version is 8.1.2 on win2016)

As per the Article that I shared in your previous post, you need to run these commands on each client:

• nbcertcmd -getCAcerificate
• nbcertcmd -getCertificate -force

To fix this I need to match the host ID under .json file of client and run the below command. This will reoccur the posted status code  i.e., 1: (227) no entity was found

I reinstall the NBU client (reissue token and provided to NBU client while installaton ). I see that I need to correct the default master id inside the .json file at client. Dont know by default why the master id is incorrect after NBU client reinstall. I have to copy the master id from .json file from NBU Server to client
