Hi there, the following error appear, but not every day and only on a specific backup.
Also note that the actuall failed session was restarted earlier and is active without changing any media in the set.

I agree with CRZ - this looks like an I/O error on the filesystem which could mean disk problem that is intermittent at this point.
Check logs on the filer.

I was going to post the same thing but CRZ & Marianne jumped to the rescue. I/O errors on the client side will usually not be a NetBackup issue.
