exchange server restoration

we have exchange 2013cu21 and os windows 2012 R2 but netbackup verstion 7.7.1 but the backups are completing successfully as per veritas documentation it must be netbackup ver 773 so is there any issue at the time of restoration as we have sucessfull backup image.

Hello,

I dont think that anybody will have experience with this exact combination of versions. I recommend you to follow the compatibility matrix, so upgrade to at least 7.7.3.

Without NetBackup 7.7.3 or later you will have trouble with an IP-less DAG. Since you got a backup, either your DAG has an IP or you found a workaround.

The Compatibility List reflects the version combinations that Veritas QA has tested. When a new Exchange release or CU comes out, they do limited testing of old releases. NetBackup 7.7.1 was released long before your Exchange 2013 CU.

This is enterprise data for you. You want to be on a supported configuration.
