exclude_list & user backup

Hello,

It is possible to use exclude list with user backup ?

I try this :

/usr/openv/netbackup/exlude_list.CEU00058_TEST.SAUVEG_1S

with a file on a repertory.

It is ok with a full backup but when i execute it in command line on client, that take the file.

NBU version : 6.5.4 

Master HP-UX 11iv3

Client HP-UX 11.11

Filename exlude_list.CEU00058_TEST.SAUVEG_1S 

says the policy is CEU00058_TEST and the schedule is SAUVEG_1S.

What type of schedule is SAUVEG_1S?

From the client, only User type schedule can be requested.

From Master server, a manual backup will be type Full or Incremental.

I am not sure if exclude_list is supported with User type schedule.

Check the schedule name and type (or remove schedule name from the exclude_list filename) and create bpbkar log folder on the client to see if exclude_list is called on the Client when User backup is done.

My Google skills are letting me down today - I was looking for supported schedule types with exclude_list and could not find anything.

Seems the assumption is that all files and folders that you want to backup will be specified in the backup selection in the GUI or the filename that is specified with -f option in the bpbackup command.
