MS-Exchange is not an enterprise  feature.. This comes under Application and Database Pack.

Exchange

SharePoint

MS-SQL etc.

Except SAP as for this you require enterprise client.

with Standard client you can only perform backup over  LAN.

with enterprise you can perform LANFREE (SAN based) backup. You can deploy SAN Media server FT server etc.

if you are entitle with capacity based model then you are entitled for all the features above mentioned.. excluding MSEO as this does requires seperate license.

As per above excellent post, Enterprise does not include Database/Application agent.

Enterprise client enables SAN media server as well as advanced Snapshot features (e.g. Storage Foundation and/or array based snapshots).

For Exchange backups, you will need Standard Client as well as Database and Application pack.
