Is there an example to make backup of a Sybase Db. for newbies ?

As far as I know there is no functionality to browse the DB as you would SQL, Exchange or Oracle. You'll have to ask your Sybase Database administrator to give you the details to place in the template. Or better yet, show him where the template is on his database server and sit with him while he modifies the script.

NetBackup installs sample scripts when you install the software; you can modify these scripts for your own use. Write the scripts to a location outside
of the original installation location. This ensures that future NetBackup installations do not overwrite your site’s scripts.
/usr/openv/netbackup/ext/db_ext/sybase/scripts
