how i configure a AIR in my env. for DR

I am curious to know why you feel that chapter 20 of Admin Guide I is NOT helpful.

Table 20-2 lists all configuration steps.

Are you using appliances?  I have one appliance in our datacenter and one in our DR site and there really wasnt mucht to setting it up.

1. Media and device management > Credentials > Storage Servers

2. Open your media server and then choose the replication tab.  Add your dr master server with credentials that can log into it.

3. Create a lifecycle policy and choose replication as the second operation to the backup (DataCenter)

4. Create a matching lifecycle policy on the DR master but choose import as the option.

The policies must match name and case EXACTLY. 

Thats pretty much it in a nutshell.  Hope this helps.
