how to backup machine keys of the server

We are taking All Local drives backup for most of the server.

At times we are asked to restore the machine keys. but we don't find any folder with name Machinekeys under  C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Microsoft\Crypto\RSA\

I suppose since the machine keys are in encrypted form so they are not backed up. Is there any ways we can backup machine keys also. with normal file system backup

What account does the Netbackup service run as ?. If it's not the "Local System Account" Netbackup may not have sufficient permissions.

T/N from Microsoft:
Default permissions for the MachineKeys folders
