Is there a way to install the netbackup client on a windows 2008R2 server, without java?

the purpose is:

this is an application server that allready uses java, when the default windows client is installed, the application doesn't behave normal anymore. we allready figured out that this is related to the java-stuff that is installed with the netbackup client.

we want to install the agent, so backups can be performed, but there is no need to have any nbu-gui running on this server, so I don't think java is necessary.

How can I install the client without the java-stuff?

The silentinstall script might give you that option.

Else try to check the order of the java folders in the path list and maybe the java home if that is used.
