Please tell us what type of storage units you have in this environment? What type is the backup STU? What type is the STU that you want to replicate to? On same or another media server under the same master? Or another environment with different master server?

Your topic title uses the word 'remote', yet your description of intent implies 'local' - because you do not mention more than one NetBackup environment.

Are you wanting to copy a backup to another completely different NetBackup environment - i.e. to a storage unit managed by a completely different NetBackup master server?

We can see that you are using a 'bidfile' as input to duplication:

-Bidfile "C:\Users\Administrator\AppData\Local\Symantec\NetBackup\20150427065811.bid"

Can you run a bpverify on the source media server for the failing image: d2dhost28.usa.hp.com_1430116844?
The problem seems to be with the read of the backup on source media server: media open error (83)

I amd curious to know more about your setup:
The client name seems to be d2dhost28 - this sounds like you have HP D2D appliances, right?
How is your storage configured and where does server COFC-USE352NNXM01 fit in the picture?
And why is the client name the d2dhosts? Or was this a test backup of some folders on the d2d media server?

It also seems that you have configured an IP address for destination media server/STU: 16.78.17.129.
Why is that? NBU does not 'play nice' with IP addresses - it is always advisable to use hostnames.

Please show us STU and disk/storage server config on the master server:

bpstulist -U

nbdevquery -liststs -U
