Trying to get upgrade software, https://www.veritas.com/support/en_US/article.TECH224245 article tells me to go to https://licensing.symantec.com

When I go there, I see my NetBackup licenses, when I try to upgrade and get new key to get software, I see this:

The serial number you have entered is for a Veritas product. Please go to the Veritas™ Licensing Portal at www.MyVeritas.com to manage this entitlement.

So, I copy and paste http://www.myveritas.com/ and get this:

Invalid URL

The requested URL "/", is invalid.

Reference #9.e091160.1444326550.2d66a5ae

Sigh

So, I went to "The Google" and found this link - "https://my.veritas.com/webapp/faces/login"

Success!

So, then I went to the software download and got to the download page, easily!

But, when I wanted to download multiple files, it said Chrome was bad.

SO, I logged in with IE - and it won't let me in!

Plus the stupid registration page REQUIRES you to answer whether you are NUCLEAR, BIOLOGICAL or Whateever, AND EVERY TIME the page refreshes, it removes your answers, so when it does not like your serial number, etc. it clears your answers.... ARGH

Close IE window.

Back to downloading one file at a time, but at least it is working.

I guess we will be seeing more of this as the split of the websites go live. 3 days ago I sent a TN to a customer. The next day it was missing. URL does not exist. No redirect to Veritas doc. And during this period, our regular Symantec / Veritas employees seem to be numb. Or missing.

I do not use the the java based download manager. Can't get it to work.

I am downloading the files one by one, using the "classic" download list.

For some reason, I no longer "own" this thread, so I cannot mark it completed, or solution.

It seems to be mostly resolved.

I have changed the thread from "Just sharing information" to "I need to solution".

You should be able to select a solution now.

If you want me to set the thread to read only, let me know.

Post is marked as 'I don't need a solution, just sharing info.' So, no Solution....

Go ahead and set it back to Just sharing, and lock it as read only, since there really is no solution, I just wanted to let others know so they would not be thinking it was only them having this issue.

Seems like it is mostly all set now.
