Hi All,
My master server is solaris10 and at 6.5.6
Hyper v server is windows 2008 r2 client 6.5.4
My hyper-v restore of full virtual machine is failing with error 24/5, I have taken successful backup but while restoring itis failing, restore job logs are:

Checked one symantec note as well but it was again failing with same issue.

failed right away... check the bpvmutil log file.

Are you restoring to different hyper v server or on its original location?

OK - I have seen something similar before - case sensitve causing issues:
replace TESTBACKUP with Testbackup
Try and correct whatever you have done to enter this in different formats and try again

Hi Mark,
There is no such entry made anywhere in the environment.
Also, I checked everywhere, and could ot find this entry. I have also case logged with symantec. They are also working on it. But have not recieved the solution yet.
