Venkat, please don't hijack other threads, you need to create your own seperate thread for your issue.
Once you do that, we can try to assist.
The backups haven't expired right, they haven't reached their retention limit?

Did you do a backup or a archive ?. In case of archive, you need to set restore type to "Archive".

Please have another look at Nicolai's post:

Did you open the URL? (And maybe download the doc?)
The default restore search is for 'Normal Backup'.
If the 'archive' was done via User Archive schedule, you need to change the restore type to 'Archived Backup'.
So, in the Java GUI, In the Restore type drop-down list, select Archived Backups.
Other search criteria to double-check:
Source Client - this must match the client name used in the policy exactly.
Policy Type - this must match the policy config (e.g. Standard or MS-Windows)
If there is a path in the "Browse Directory" in the GUI, then backspace over it to only have / in the path.
Please take a screenshot of each step in your search process - not only the error message.

I don't know what to say anymore - you either did not read our previous posts or else you did not understand.
Maybe a language problem?

We have seen your error 3 times now.
I have asked for screen shots of each step in your selection process.
1. Screen shot of where you select backup type - Normal backup or Archive
2. Screen shot of Source and Destination client plus Policy type.
3. Screen shot of date selection.

You are not reading my posts.
Your Restore Type is "Normal Backup" instead of Archived Backups.
I will no longer reply to this discussion.

We can only assist if you answer our questions and give us correct information - it does not help to tell us that you have 'archived on tape' when in fact you have taken Normal Backups.
PLEASE help us to help you?
1. Your last screenshot shows the following:
Source client : us4-vfs05
Question 1 : Does this client name match the client name in policy EXACTLY ?
2. Screenshot shows Policy Type : Windows
Question 2: Have you checked and verified that this is correct?
3. Screenshot shows Start and End Date as 26 October 2017 14:31
Question 3: Do you have a valid, unexpired MS-Windows backup that was done for this client on this date?
Question 4: If you click on the 'Backup History' icon, what do you see?
Question 5:
Have you tried to list backup history for this client with commands such as bpimagelist and/or bplist ?
e.g.
bpimagelist -client us4-vfs05 -d 10/26/2017 -U
(You can add more options, but above will be a good start to see what is in NBU catalog)
08-06-2019 10:18 AM
in backup windows and i can see the policy and after i click on policy, its shows error
the error is we need to give current date, client ,type
