improvements for the entitlement downloads

i don't know where to post this so please excuse me for posting here.

in the entitlements downloads, up to now it is still confusing which filename corresponds to which downloads. one cannot tell or unable to find out which filename is for servers and for clients. the README file should point that out and should have a mapping of filename to purpose.

for example,

  • "NetBackup_7.7.3_Solaris_Sparc64.tar.gz" -> installer file for Solaris-based master server
  • "NetBackup_7.7.3_Win.zip" -> installer file for Windows-based master server
  • "NetBackup_7.7.3_CLIENTS1.tar.gz" -> contains installer files for NBU clients on X operating systems;then it should list the client OS also

with that, people would have a lot less headache trying to figure out what should they download. most specially appreciated with those with low bandwidth (which is the rest of the world).

Information on installation files can be found in NBU Installation Guide.

yes but i'm referring to the download site. it is nowhere there. no files tell you which filename to download for what purpose.

NetBackup manuals are you friends.
Download them.
Use them.
That is what I do.
That is how I got to know what I advise here.
