increase jobs in activity monitor

hi,

i need to increase jobs in activity monitor in netbackup 7.0.1 on unix to keep one months in activity monitor ..  thanks

Please note that this will put additional load on your master.
(I cannot tell you how much because all of our customers are happy with a couple of days in Activity Monitor and use reports and/or OpsCenter for the rest.)

Jobs are by default kept for 3 days (78 hours).

To update current NBU session:
bpdbjobs -keep_hours <hours> 

To change permanently, update bp.conf:
KEEP_JOBS_HOURS = <hours>

You need to amend the values of KEEP_JOBS_HOURS and KEEP_JOBS_SUCCESSFUL_HOURS.

There are (or certainly appears to be) various ways to change these settings - bp.conf entries, bpdbjobs, bpsetconfig of which the first two are covered in the Admin Guide & the odd T/N:
