if a duplication job is 90% done and it got interrupted or cancelled (suspending the secondary operations in SLP), will it resume where it left once the secondary SLP operations are reactivated?

I will start from the beginning again. Only file system backup can be resumed (if configured in the policy).

It is likley the SLP will catch up fast, becuase a lot of the uniue fingerprints has already been transfered.

Yes and no, if you duplication job had multiple backup IDs in it.  Then the backup IDs that have been duplicated will stay duplicated, but the backup IDs that have not been duplicated or is currently running will need to be re-ran.  So when you resume secondary operations it will start over for images that have not been duplicated yet.
