is it possible to restore backup after removing its policy

Greetings Smartguys,
If i had a policy to archive some unused data and this policy is removed , is that data still can be restored . and if yes is it a direct restore or it has a special procedure ???

You can safely remove ANY policy and still be able to restore data that was backed up by the policy
 
No special steps should need to be made.
However, if the client only existed in the policy that was deleted, then you may need to define the client into a policy. This can be done in any policy and its basic function is to tell netbackup what platform/OS the client is.
