macOS 10.12.4 backup using NetBackup 7.7.2

We have a requirement just came to us asking for backing up a macOS 10.12.4 machine using our netbackup enviroment based on 7.7.2. Went through the compatibility list for 7.7.2 and it seems not supported yet also as per Netbackup 8 software compatibilty list, the section for mac is not even there.

Please share your knowledge on this. 

Also, what are my alternatives to backup these macOs.

Unfortunately all support for MacOS has ended with NBU 7.7.1.
