Hi dear all,

My master server is redhat and netbackup 7.7.2 installed. when I want to add new cleaning cartridge and inventory robot I get error: media ID not unique in database (34).

Netbackup said media ID CLN099L1 is not unique but I haven't this media ID in library and inventory was successful before. but when I run this command: "nbemmcmd  -listmedia -mediaid CLN099"  a media with ID CLN099CU is on EMM database.

Hey

Looks like you have barcode rules to read first 6 characters of barcode - and these two media for NBU are identical (as its not looking at 7 and 8 of barcode characters). Please remove existing one - vmdelete -m CLN099 (cleaning tape can be removed without any hassle) and rerun your inventory - this time it will be added
