Please advise how can i fix below error.

i have done media verify but still failing

11/14/2016 10:47:12 - Critical bptm (pid=20182) get frag failed, backup id (172.31.3.30_1478711932)
11/14/2016 10:47:13 - Critical bptm (pid=20182) image write failed: error 227: plugin error
11/14/2016 10:48:54 - end writing; write time: 0:03:41
11/14/2016 10:50:24 - Error bptm (pid=20182) cannot write image to disk, Invalid argument

What storage are you using, this could be an issue with the plugin or a network/comms type issue?

How about gathering bpdm/bptm log with pdplugin logging enabled ?

Just add VERBOSE = 5 for bpdm and for pdplugin edit <install_path>\NetBackup\bin\ost-plugins\pd.conf file so that these lines are uncommented:
      Windows:
DEBUGLOG = C:\pdplugin.log
      Unix:
DEBUGLOG = /var/log/puredisk/pdplugin.log\

LOGLEVEL = 10

once this is done... run verify again and gather logs.

verify job did not created any fbpdm/bptm logs in client .

i have uncommented below from client and enbale verbose=5 from BAR GUI

      Windows:
DEBUGLOG = C:\pdplugin.log

bptm and bpdm log folders go on the media server.

Create the folders if they do not exist.

creating new policy fixed the issue

If I am right, creating new policy will cause full backup to run again. Full backups will work fine. The incremental backups need to be observed.
